Recording artiste BadSkyla whose given name is Aalyannah Amanda Angel was born on August 10th, in Silvers Sands Trelawny, Jamaica. where she moved from St Catherine and attended Merl Grove High School. Starting from the love of music, Badskyla always finds comfort in drowning herself in music, eventually leading to her desire to make her own. “If you love music it is only natural to aspire to make your own. I remember the first song I wrote in 5th grade, I sang it to my classmates and they never believed that I wrote it. because it was too good to be true and from that day I realized I had a true musical talent and that I needed to be known’’ Stated the artist. With the strong influence of Dancehall, Reggae, RNB, and Hip Hop “Badskyla has found a space where she can exercise her creativity and sensational vocals to create her sound, with her personality, and style. She started recording in January of 2023 After being asked what made her want to be an artist, Aalyannah “Badskyla replied “I’m very innovative and love anything artistic always creating new things, which I find very peaceful and tranquil. I feel an emotional connection with music which is why I had to become an artiste. I’ve always loved music but I didn’t have the confidence to sing or write anything. As I proceeded towards music I realized that I was actually good at it and I could express myself confidently.
