Jacob Tell

Jacob Tell released his first studio album HARD TO BE HUMAN in January 2026 to an overwhelmingly positive critical reception. Blending blues-infused rock, indie rock, and Americana, critics compared Jacob's songwriting to James Taylor and Paul Simon, and praised producer Don Douglass for creating a "cinematic," "soulful," and "dangerously precise" sound. Jacob and Don are currently at work on two follow-up EPs. The all covers UNDER THE INFLUENCE is a tribute to singer-songwriters, including Chuck Berry, Lennon-McCartney, and Bruce Springsteen. SOMEONE TO CRY TO is a collection of originals more intimate in scope and confessional than the socio-political themes of HARD TO BE HUMAN.
