Lumwest

Lumwest is a Norwegian-based project that blends psychedelic- and indie-rock with aim to create a colourful palette of sounds and emotion. The band is lead by Andreas Ringsjø who writes, records and produces the songs himself. However, the music first came alive on-stage with his band of close friends formed in Kristiansand. The band consists of Andreas Ringsjø (vocals/guitar), Vincent Zakariassen (bass), Simen Alstad (keys/percussion), Cristopher Penzo (guitar), and Oliver Ræstad (drums). Lumwest has already released one full-length album with a second one emerging over the horizon. Set to release in early 2027, the album will take a step back from today´s neo-psychedelic landscape, and instead mix it with the roots of psychedelic rock from the late 60s and early 70s. Lumwest´s goal is to blend the two into a world made of heavy riffs, chaotic soundscapes , dreamy harmonies and lush production.
