Foresaga

Foresaga creates soundscapes that defy easy categorization. Formed in 2021 by Franziska Koehl, Meri Tadic ( Irij , ex-Eluveitie), and Björn Hoppen ( Bjorth) the trio occasionally weaves themes of Norse mythology into their music, yet consciously breaks away from conventional "Viking Folk." The result is a completely distinct, captivating sonic journey that stands entirely on its own. The atmospheric depth of their music quickly drew attention, with the track Seidr being featured as the soundtrack for the MDR documentary Schamanen, Hexen, neue Heiden. In 2022, Foresaga released Runa which remains one of their most successful tracks to date. They carried this momentum into 2023 with the release of their debut EP, Each Uisge , showcasing the project's expansive musical vision and featuring collaborations with fellow artists Sagason, Turenheim and Askadia.
