Josiah Bassey

Josiah Bassey is a multi-genre artist and producer. His music, free-flowing in nature, travels from laid-back to up-tempo. Whether it’s Afro-pop, R&B, or EDM, Bassey never shies away from experimenting with melodies and sounds, blurring the lines between genres and expressing a blend of music that he feels true to. 
 Nigerian-born and raised, Bassey's early musical tastes were developed in the Church. While he loves to cross-pollinate between genres, he is not afraid to create within the boundaries of styles. His loyalty is always first to the authenticity of the music. 
 His collaboration with Grammy winner H.E.R., Mystro, Tone Stith, Maxx Moore, Tauren Wells, Samoht, Livv e.t.c., are a testament to his versatility. 
 Bassey earned a nomination at the 2022 Grammy ceremony for “Hold us together”, an empowering record featured in the Disney Plus movie “Safety.” Bassey wrote the song performed by H.E.R.
