Wanaka

With little more than his ukulele and deeply evocative voice, Wanaka creates a uniquely intimate style of Folk Rock. His songs are heartfelt stories of love and loss, brought to life in vivid details by his gift for poetic lyricism. With a deep passion for traveling and hiking, the various strings and melodies feels like a blend of different worlds and cultures brought up together in a fresh package of emotions. Influenced by everything from grunge and alt-rock to modern Indie Folk, Wanaka’s performances are humble yet powerful, complete with meaningful observations and memorable imagery. With his Second album “Kingdom Of Lizards” just released, this French-born Israeli artist is poised to continue sharing his passion with the world for years to come.
