From a young age I loved dance music, from playing mums records as a kid to going to youth clubs as a teen. Being a teen in the 90’s rave scene was when my love of buying vinyl and interest in becoming a DJ started. In my early 20’s I got my first real job as a DJ/Promoter working in Liverpool city centre during the day promoting the events, then DJing at night. From there I got 3 regular gigs/club residences and that was me in regular DJ work from 1999-2006. I DJ’d in some of the biggest clubs and venues in Liverpool at that time and then the digital world started and I didn’t get on board. I went back to managing a panting and decorating company for the next 15 years but always missed the DJing world and in 2018 started to get back into it and made the jump to mp3. I now see this new DJing world is all about producing tunes and social media following so I started my DJ career again, promoting myself and got a couple of events and DJ slots on a Friday and Saturday night. I started to produce music and got one signed to a label. Lock down came and put a stop to DJing, this meant all my time went in to making tunes and live streaming on Facebook. So the next 12 months were spent building up my social media network and working with Liam making tunes. I am hopeful I get back to DJing in the clubs as soon as possible but more than anything, I’d like to hear one of our tunes getting played all over the place!
