Shandri

Shandri is a neo-psychedelic project that weaves together the mysticism of psych-rock, the driving energy of kraut and the rawness of garage, with the occasional world-music indulgence. Born between the mountains of Valle de México, the open landscapes of Baja California Sur, and the creative undercurrent of the San Francisco Bay Area, the project blends introspection, movement, and expansive sound design into immersive sonic experiences. After a four-year recording hiatus dedicated to learning and polishing the craft of mixing, production, performance, and self-recording, Shandri returned in November with the EP Visions — marking the beginning of a new, fully self-shaped era. That time away wasn’t silence; it was study, and the fruit of the ashram is a sound that feels more intentional, cinematic, and emotionally direct. Now stepping into his most prolific chapter yet, Shandri is back with a wave of new music — expansive, self-produced, and unafraid to evolve. He released his debut LP- Overflow- in mid May, and is lining up more music for the next of the year. www.shandri.com
