Laust Foged

Laust Foged is a DJ and producer from Aalborg, Denmark, whose sound moves between house, deep house, UK garage, hip hop and electronic music. He began producing in 2010 and released his first official material in 2017: the two-track EP “Sunset” and “Low”. The chilled deep house track “Sunset” quickly gained international attention, reaching No. 1 on French radio station Radio Volna’s Amplitude Radio Lounge. Since then, Laust Foged has released music on various labels and collaborated with artists and vocalists from across the international music scene. His soulful house track “Insomnia”, featuring Soul Samurai, received airplay on UK station Select Radio. One of his standout releases, “Gone” featuring UK vocalist Liyah and released on legendary label Chuggy Traxx, received attention from BBC Radio 1. In Denmark, tracks including “Do Better” (WZA Remix), “Groove Express” and “Mellotronica” have been featured on DR P3’s Vidundergrunden. His latest release, “Wide Open Sky”, with the German disco-star: “Freiboitar” has already received a lot of International attention. Beyond his own releases, Laust Foged has composed music for brands and creative projects including Wiley X, “Generation Snack” (a Danish chips company), podcasts and the Danish Cancer Society’s “Løb for Livet“ (Relay For Life). With a passion for groove, melody and electronic music, Laust Foged continues to develop his sound through new releases and international collaborations.
