Born Shamarr Wilder, Shamarr W is a multi-talented vocalist and rapper born in Southfield Michigan and raised in Both Detroit Michigan and Oak Park Michigan. Shamarr W is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire and express himself innovatively and creatively. 
 He is the embodiment of originality and uses his experiences and musical acumen to create an amalgamated and original sound. Influenced by life to real-life parables and life juxtaposed. 
 Shamarr W grew up facing various facets of the social spectrum. His understanding of impoverished communities, and drug abuse as well as the disparity with the affluent allows him to make music that is reflective of his experiences and thought process. 
 This all culminates in Shamarr W producing music that is relatable to people and infused with positive energy to allow for an immersive experience. His overarching ambition is to make great music that appreciates the raw truth and the beauty in the journey of life. His music will create a legacy that is different, unique, and memorable. 
 Shamarr W has 3 projects in his repertoire namely “Strictly For My”, “Scenes In Between” and “Strictly 2”. He will be releasing more music that will showcase his lyricism in a uniquely constructed piece of musical artistry.
