Speak

Speak is a Romanian DJ and producer, behind the decks since 2002. He started on vinyl as a resident at Club Zebra in Bacău, in a booth he shared with Raresh and DJ OldSkull. In 2005 he moved to Iași for a residency at Club Byblos. From 2007 to 2014 he was Alex Velea's DJ on tour, building the live versions of the songs for the stage. Off stage he was writing for others: Mandala for Fly Project, Minim Doi and Fantezii for Alex Velea, songs for Smiley, Anda Adam, Ruby and Anna Lesko, and the lyrics of Delia's A lu' Mamaia. In 2013 he released his first records as a vocalist and, after a year of doing both, stepped out front: Prada de război, Lasă-mă, mi place, Profund. Now he is back where it started, and tech house is his focus. His new records are built for the club, and "Talk Too Much" was picked up by Spotify’s New Music Friday România and is supported by Hot Since 82. His sets run through tech house, bass house and dubstep, and have taken him to Nibiru, Beach Please, Waves, On Festival and Young Festival. In 2027 he takes 4 DECADES by SPEAK, his DJ show, on a national tour. Booking: iamspeak.com/booking
