Lofty

Lofty is a UK-born DJ, music producer, engineer and artist now based in the Algarve, Portugal. With over 27 years in music production and more than 15 years running professional recording studios across the UK and Portugal, he has worked with major artists, underground talent and award-winning musicians across multiple genres. After years spent behind the scenes producing, engineering and developing artists, Lofty began releasing his own music in late 2025 — quickly gaining traction with a string of dance reworks and original productions. His Afro-house inspired rework of “Hit The Road Jack” surpassed 275,000 streams within 4 months, with his catalogue continuing to grow rapidly across streaming platforms. Now focusing fully on his own releases, DJ performances and artist development, Lofty has launched SoundBunker as an independent label and creative platform, collaborating with artists from both the UK and Portugal while pushing new music and emerging talent to a worldwide audience.
