Biography & Metadata
Boy Pussy emerged from Toronto's queer underground party scene in 2013, serving as both one of Callum Magnum's earliest aliases and a vehicle for his early productions. The project explored a collision of 90s house, acid, and techno, built around provocative vocal performances — moans, gasps, whispered hooks, and suggestive rhymes woven directly into the groove. The project's debut solo release, Unisex EP, arrived on Play Records in 2015. Soon after, Boy Pussy launched the label Wet Trax with the acid house anthem "Suck Me Off." A string of singles followed, culminating in the retrospective compilations Boy Pussy, Boy Pussy: The Remixes, Vol. 1, and Boy Pussy: The Remixes, Vol. 2 in 2022. In 2023, "This Hole" — a previously unreleased demo dating back to 2013 — finally surfaced on Wet Trax. Revealing a more progressive house direction with melodic vocals, the track would later be included in Resident Advisor's Best Electronic Tracks of 2000–25. Beyond the project itself, Boy Pussy produced Canadian Indigenous trans vocalist Quanah Style's self-titled debut album, which was named among Billboard's Top 10 Dance Albums of 2020. The alias also yielded a series of collaborations with Canadian dance music icon Melleefresh, culminating in the 2020 compilation Melleefresh VS Boy Pussy At Play. Now, in 2026, a new remix series revives Boy Pussy for another round of unapologetic dancefloor debauchery.
