Géonne Hartman

Looking around with the attentive eye of the seasoned storyteller, Géonne Hartman gently shares with us what she sees and senses, and the fleetingness we are all trying to hold on to. Hartman’s songs are a reminder to taking the necessary time to feel and process, to search and reflect, and take it all in. Inspired by artists such as Adrianne Lenker and author Sally Rooney, Hartman invites us to slow down and capture life in its smaller essence; the morning dew before it leaves the grass; the couple near the playground that dreams about their own future family. Hartman’s minimalist compositions and poetic gaze warmly invite us to carefully be drawn into and be inspired by a calmer and, in all its sizzling details, vivid world. Gracefully allowing us to slightly tilt our world view with her.
