Songiè

Emerging from a small coastal town in Southern Norway, Songié is out to make lush pop beats with hooks, sax and fuzz guitar.Its mission is to hide the melancholic lyrics, which pulls your heart close to home. Born and raised in the small village Laget in Southern Norway, Songié has always had a love for music. His father, a jazz guitarist, left him an acoustic guitar which would be the spark that ignited the need to write his own songs from the age of 16.  From early on music was a big part of his life. There was Legos, and there was The Prodigy. The sense of rhythm and structure is part of his music to this day. Creating Songié was a necessary step to ensure that ideas that was outside of his current bands scope, had a place to thrive. First created as a singer/songwriter style with an acoustic guitar, it slowly evolved into pop music as time went by. Meeting up with producer André Ristesund, which mostly produces drum and bass music, created the unlikely mashup that Songié is today.
