Biography & Metadata
Flashbacks is a deeply personal snapshot of two years of growing up, falling in love, losing people, chasing dreams, and trying to understand who you are in the middle of it all. Created almost entirely from a home studio in Guadalajara, the album captures the highs, lows, nostalgia, impulsiveness, and uncertainty of a period that shaped who Grismer is today. Sonically, Flashbacks refuses to stay in one lane. Blending alternative pop, emo, R&B, Latin rap, and electronic influences, the album moves between intimate bedroom confessionals and energetic, chaotic moments. Every track represents a different memory, emotion, or version of the person behind it. At the center of the project is “The Honeymoon Phase,” a raw and vulnerable exploration of intimacy, attraction, and the darker emotions that can surface beneath the excitement of a new relationship. Elsewhere, tracks like “I Need A Summer” bring a carefree, feel-good energy, while “Los Desonfiados,” featuring Guadalajara underground artist buyirg , dives into Latin rap and R&B with a playful, flirtatious attitude. The entire album was produced by SAINTZ, a producer rooted in Guadalajara’s underground hip-hop and reggaeton scene, giving the project a distinct sonic identity while allowing each song to occupy its own world. More than anything, Flashbacks is about memories of friends, places, relationships, and how moments stay with us long after they’re gone. It’s messy, nostalgic, romantic, reckless, and honest.
