BOLDEN. is the UK-based jazz house project of multi-instrumentalist Reuben Barrett, blending the soul of jazz with the rhythm of electronic music. Named in tribute to jazz pioneer Buddy Bolden, the project aims to evolve the jazz tradition rather than replicate it — instinctive, rhythm-driven production built on Reuben's self-taught versatility across guitar, bass, drums and keys, written and recorded with a range of collaborators including Catherine Rannus. Live, BOLDEN. is fluid and high-impact — constant instrument switching, real-time improvisation and reworked arrangements that make every set unique, with Reuben joined on stage by a rotating cast of musicians. The project has earned millions of streams and support from major editorial playlists including Jazz House and Jazz Club , while the fan-curated playlist @Jazz House Lounge serves a community of over 120,000 listeners.
