Biography & Metadata

Boyblanck’s riding the top of new school Indian hip-hop wave. He’s also so much more: trap savant, UP16 representative, a rockstar-genre-diplomat, your friend’s favourite rapper, avant garde audio artist, crusader of flows, creator of magic. Born Raghav Bhatia and bred within Noida’s boutique rap label G16, Boyblanck is a young creative force to reckon with. He’s earned himself this title through his hyper energetic lyricism and experimental sound, coasting through his own wavelength in the scene. He’s an artist beyond his years, having dipped his feet into the massive ocean of film sound production in his work on Kennedy, directed by Anurag Kashyap. But he’s as tapped into the sonic climate as anyone his age can be, evident in how he dominates playlists from Dillihood to Tazza Hai. With every new track, feature, and bar, Boyblanck is flexing his insane talent as an artist. There’s a thrill in his music, and he’s still got a long way to go to shake up what Indian hip-hop can sound like. His next step towards creating seismic waves in the hip-hop world is Multani Mitti, a collaborative tape with Indian trap wizard DRV. There’s no escaping the earthquake-like force of his sound, and there’s no denying his timeless artistry. Boyblanck is on the way to ground himself as one of the scene’s coolest innovators.
