Chevrae

Jeffrey Smienk, aka Chevrae, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. After he was taken to a gospel choir at a young age by his family, he discovered the passion for music. Soon he started to develop his skills in different instruments. Then, at the age of 14, he started producing dance music. Chevrae tries to appeal to a broad audience with his sound. His talent did not go unnoticed. In an era where an entire generation of youngsters grew up with making music on digital systems, it's not easy to stand out. However 27 year old Chevrae has managed to create an unique take on music. His poppy, alternative, chords and vocal based blend of future music surfaced round the year 2016, when he collaborated with Dutch hitmaking machine Bakermat. Their track Dreamreacher made a young producer reach his dreams with 10 million plays on Spotify. Sony/ATV got on board, recognizing the talent the Dutchman clearly possesses. After locking himself up in his studio for two years, committed to making music 24/7 and crafting his own sound, the first two tracks of his EP Temporary Love were released late 2017.
