Cidtronyck DJ / Producer / Teacher / Nominated for 3 Pulsar Awards in Chile. Cidtronyck is a famous Chilean Dj and Producer, active in the Hip Hop scene since 2006. He’s a member of the Chilean rap group Salvaje Decibel and he’s spent the last decade Djing, producing and being MC Portavoz hypeman. He’s also worked with great and well renowned artists such as Matiah Chinaski, Ana Tijoux, Liricistas, Terrible, Brous One, NFX, Stailok of Movimiento Original, amongst others. He’s produced a wide range of Chilean hip hop albums, the most acclaimed ones are “Salvaje Decibel – Radical (2013)”, “Portavoz – escribo Rap con R de Revolución (2012)” Where its critically acclaimed as a classic, for its swing and 90s east coast boom bap sound. Although his most known and intriguing work to this day is his debut “Pasado, Presente & Libertad (2017)” Where he displays a mixture of sounds and new texture, having worked with various Latin American musicians and mc’s taking you on a journey through his jazz influence, Latin-Afro, Scratches and his trademark Boom Bap. As a DJ and musician he’s collaborated on many a song and lp’s being it be he’s one of the most sought out dj’s to have on your project. He’s worked on full length LP’s such as “Brous One & Matiah Chinaski – Elba Surita (2014)”, Terrible & Cidtronyck – Recuerdos del Futuro (2014) During 2016 and 2017 he was a central part of the creation of the Jazz Rap project called Frentesur alongside well renowned Chilean musicians.
