Aditya Kalway

For Aditya Kalway, music has never been a destination, it has always been a way of engaging with the world. Equally drawn to the discipline of classical training and the spontaneity of songwriting, he has spent years developing an artistic voice that values curiosity over convention. His work is marked by a deep affection for melody, language and storytelling, often finding emotional depth in moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Following a chance interaction with Salim Merchant, Aditya went on to work closely within the Salim–Sulaiman ecosystem for over three years, collaborating alongside some of the industry's most respected musicians and creators while continuing to develop his own artistic identity. Whether performing in intimate listening rooms or crafting songs in the studio, Aditya approaches music with the same instinct that first drew him to it: a desire to explore, question and remain endlessly playful. At the centre of his artistry is a simple belief: that the most meaningful songs are often the ones that feel less like performances and more like conversations. Aditya’s most recent release is his Debut EP called “Der Aaye Durust Aaye”, which is a 5-track multi-genre project. In collaboration with Alok Ranjan Srivastava and Nikhil-Swapnil.
