Biography & Metadata
After taking a long break, Maximum Overdrive came back together in November 2023, ready to raise hell again. With Manuel Rosas, Alejandro Chirot, Alejandro Cossio, Armando Lastre, and Daniel Fajardo on board, things picked up fast. We've been evolving non-stop, always pushing our sound forward. Our music is a wild mix of everything we grew up loving — the fast and furious energy of Municipal Waste, Suicidal Angels, the raw power of classics such as D.R.I. or Exodus and the crushing heaviness of hardcore bands like Hatebreed, North Side Kings, Pro-Pain and Rise Of The Northstar. It all comes together in our own brand of crossover thrash: loud, intense, and totally in your face.
