For me, music always begins with a feeling or something I wanna say. My English is not perfect but the story comes directly from my heart. The lyrics is then woven with sounds. I would say my approach to writing lyrics often falls somewhere between the introspection of Depeche Mode, the observation of Pet Shop Boys, and the emotional depth of Hurts. I remember the past in detail, so each track becomes a way of leaving a few traces of the things I’ve come to understand about life, wrapping them into synthpop - often with Italo disco influences - leaving space so the listeners can mirror their own meaning, or simply stay with a new question. After decades practicing as a lawyer, many viewed my move to songwriting as irrational, perhaps even reckless. To me, it was a natural progression. I still use what I learnt over the years like how to cut straight to the core and deliver my point as simple as possible. The only real difference is that I no longer have to hide the human behind the argument. Here, I use my entire register. Between studio sessions, I am working on a book looking into the mechanics of modern streaming examining how the system affects the independent artist. - Over 5,000,000 worldwide streams - Featured on ZYX Italo Disco New Generation (vol. 27 & 29) - Played on Matt Williams' legendary worldwide radioshow Synthpop Symphony: ”The Game” #279; ”Cross the River” #286; ”Step Out” #331; and ”Get Up” #347) - Airplay across 60+ radio stations
