MENTESH

MENTESH (Guy Mentesh) is a central figure in the Israeli music scene. As the frontman and producer of the duo Guy & Yahel, he has spent more than ten years at the top of the country’s rock and pop charts. While his work in the mainstream continues, MENTESH has recently circled back to an old love: electronic music. This project started as a way to have fun in the studio with no pressure has grown into a major part of his life. His sound is a mixture of Deep Tech, Minimal, and Indie Dance. His move into the global scene is already well underway, with a growing catalog of releases on respected labels like Anjunadeep, Bunny tiger, Green Room (Smash The House), Bau Haus, Headonism, HarmonizZ, Top Board and Ursul Records. "This project started for the pure fun of it, a way to play with sound without any outside expectations. But the more I dove back into the electronic world, the more it took over.
