從選秀節目出道成為華語音樂市場巨星，喜歡嘗試音樂發展的各種可能性，從歌手、演員、主持人到作家，他勇敢挑戰自我，他是從不害怕跟別人不一樣的老蕭。 出生於台灣花蓮縣豐濱鄉，在臺北市萬華區成長。歌聲渾厚高亢，唱腔豐富且有爆發力。他原本在餐廳駐唱，2007年因為參加臺灣電視歌唱選秀節目第一屆《超級星光大道》的踢館單元而一舉成名。2008年3月，華納唱片公司宣布與蕭敬騰簽約，同年推出個人首張專輯《蕭敬騰同名專輯》正式發行。 In 2008, Warner Music officially announced to sign a contract with Jam Hsiao and released his first Album. Jam Hsiao likes to try every possibility in music, from singer, actor to host or writer. He is brave to challenge himself. In 2021, Jam Hsiao released the album ''Quarantine Hotel Room 2827.''
