Biography & Metadata

Currently considered as one of a few pioneers for the new era of Hard Techno music, Steve Shaden marked the Techno and Hard Techno scene worldwide with countless productions that brought to him success and acclamation from colleagues and the public. His productions are characterized by very aggressive kicks and basses, modern grooves, and a strong influence from the early sounds of hardstyle, hard trance, and progressive techno from the early 90s. Graduated in music production and sound engineering and a teacher within the same subject, Steve got his music supported by artists like Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Charlotte De Witte, Chris Liebing, Dax J, Ellen Alien, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini, as well as played in the major world festivals ranging from Awakenings to Tomorrowland and the Kappa Future Festival to name a few. After releasing on world-famous labels within the Techno and Hard Techno panorama, Steve become the 1st Hard Techno producer on Beatport TOP100 artists in 2018, and, In the same year, he was also awarded the title of best Hard Techno producer by the famous German magazine “Faze Magazine”, cementing him as an international symbol of this music genre. Among the latter, we remember his participation in the "KNTXT invites" by Charlotte De Witte, aired in May 2019 on the Belgian radio Stu Bru.
