ErickOscar

My name is Erick Rivera. I have been playing acoustic guitar and writing songs for 30 something years. My dad was a semi-professional singer, and I grew up listening to music every weekend - usually ballads and love songs. Music and playing the guitar are like therapy. I use software to create the music for my lyrics (selecting the style, tempo, vocals, instruments, arrangement, etc.) - trying to convey the emotion of my lyrics. Through the process I have become an amateur music producer - I love producing music and trying different things. I was born in Panamá but have lived in the United States for 34 years. I have also lived or have been on work assignments overseas in almost every country in Latin America. The combination of all of the above is what makes my music eclectic - I like most genres of music especially if the message is deep (if it has substance.) I like music that inspires and touches the heart. They say pictures speak louder than words. I know music connects with our souls in a way that nothing else does.
