Housai Beats

An artist from Nara, Japan. In 2020, he founded his own base, Housai Studio, expanding his work into music production, songwriting, and studio engineering. Restarting his solo project in 2021, he released numerous instrumental and collaborative works, achieving a 12-month consecutive single release in 2023 that marked his presence among a wide range of listeners. That same year, he joined the [UNESCO] × [Nara International Film Festival] project “Grand Voyage with Africa,” appearing in Kenyan director Lydia Matata’s A conversation between two artists and composing music for the film, which was screened at festivals worldwide. He also provided music for Matata’s short film PEPO KARI, earning international acclaim.
