Edu Monteiro

Hailing from Portugal, Edu Monteiro is not only an artist but a self-taught producer as well. Since a young kid, Edu was passionate about soccer but then something happened.. One day he was playing in a youth soccer championship and broke his leg. He had to stop for about 6 months. He spent a lot of time at home and found an old rusty guitar from his grandfather. Since that moment everything changed. Edu was no longer passionate about soccer. He just wanted to make music FOREVER!!! Last year he had the opportunity to be composing and producing music for artists such as Anitta, Pabllo Vittar, Lola Indigo, Cecilia Krull, and achieved his first gold record. He also worked on countless writing camps for major labels and publishers in Portugal, Spain, France, and India. More recently he worked on Alba Reche’s album called “Quimera” which scored a Latin Grammy nomination for “best-engineered album”. Edu Monteiro released his debut single "You" and nothing will ever stop him from making music! He promises to be a breath of fresh air to the music industry.
