Skandal

Consisting of vocalist Yogha Prasiddhamukti, guitarist and vocalist Robertus Febrian Valentino, guitarist Rheza Ibrahim, and drummer Argha Mahendra, Yogyakarta's very own Skandal identifies itself as a present-day musical unit with a ‘bit of a ‘90s hangover and every sentimental side of things. Their bittersweet things of a life-themed brand new album, 'Melodi', which was released by Disaster Records, capture and solidify the guitar pop formula that is uniquely Skandal; delivering memorable chorus hooks, overdrive-laden guitars, bright vocal harmonies, and colorful combinations between upbeat melodic rock to more balladry, melancholic ones. It's "poppier than your standard rock, punchier than your standard pop" kind of music.
