Biography & Metadata

Vennisay (Vennis Jay Williams III) is a Christian artist from Lakeland, Florida, making music out of real life, real faith, and real emotion. Coming from an underground sound, Vennisay doesn’t try to stay in one box. His music moves through melodic rap, raw songwriting, experimental sounds, and faith-driven lyrics — all while keeping Christ at the center. Whether the song feels energetic, vulnerable, dark, bright, or worshipful, the goal stays the same: to make honest REAL ART that can reach people from all walks of life. For Vennisay, REAL ART ONLY is more than a music motto. It’s the belief that any gift, craft, or form of creativity becomes real art when it glorifies Jesus Christ. In a world full of fake and phony art that promotes sin, death, and things that don’t honor the Lord, Vennisay’s mission is to create from the heart and point everything back to the Most High. Through projects like GOD MADE ART, out of control, EUCHE, Out the Grave!, and Reborn In Him, Vennisay continues to build a world around faith, vulnerability, and transformation — showing that God can still make something beautiful out of an imperfect story.
