Melodic Moonrise

Melodic Moonrise is a quartet centered around Swiss guitarist Miloš Mraz, whose reflective playing shapes the group’s calm and atmospheric sound. Deeply fascinated by the moon and its quiet presence, Mraz approaches jazz with a sense of patience and emotional depth, letting melodies unfold slowly and naturally. Built around warm guitar lines, gentle rhythms and spacious arrangements, the quartet creates instrumental pieces that feel intimate and contemplative. The music draws on elements of modern jazz while keeping the focus on mood, melody and subtle interaction between the musicians. Melodic Moonrise crafts quiet, expressive jazz that moves like moonlight across a night landscape — soft, thoughtful and full of understated feeling.
