Alex Waters

I wish I had a cool mysterious 3 word bio for you but I've never been great at playing that vibe. I've been to the edge, of life, of heartbreak, of love and nearly death. I write my music from my soul. Inspired by my personal life experiences, with my sound guided by hundreds if not thousands of psychedelic journeys. I started playing piano at the age of 9 or 10, drums at 11, and trombone became my main instrument at 13. My jazz background comes through in my music. I always wanted to be at the front of the band singing and playing guitar, and so in 2024 I started leaning guitar and taking singing lessons to get past my own self doubt and fulfill my dreams. My first album, New Beginnings, is releasing in July 2026, is the start of something special. Me creating the music that's been inside me my entire life, and sharing it with you. It was written and produced inside my home studio in Austin Texas with my friend and producer, James Berkeley. I hope it makes you feel something. I was born in the UK, grew up in Perth, Australia and am now living in Austin, Texas.
