Dirty basslines combined with warm synths; his music is an easygoing mix and cannot be limited to just one genre. His musical vision revolves around texture and feeling, inviting vocalists and songwriters to write on his productions and create a powerful atmosphere. In every Stirmouth track, you can hear influences from his musical heroes: from the legendary J Dilla to modern-day masters like Kaytranada and Dabeull. Stirmouth (Xavier Morssinkhof), born and raised in the bustling city of Roermond, is an artist with an irresistible urge to create the perfect groove. His love for music began with piano at the age of 10, but truly came to life when he discovered music production. The hypnotic beats of disco and funk, which his father always used to played at home, formed the soundtrack of his youth and inspired him to develop his own unique sound.
