Du Blonde

Du Blonde is a solo artist from Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Since her first album under her birth name in 2011, Du Blonde’s musical output spans over 20 years and 6 albums. Pulling from a multitude of genres, her songs touch upon themes from the mundane to the magnificent, trauma and her experiences moving through the world as someone with AuDHD and chronic illness. From rock, punk and grunge, to the songwriting styles of the psych folk scenes of 1960s Los Angeles, her work offers something for everyone. After 15 years signed to record labels, in 2021 Du Blonde became fully independent, writing and releasing music on her own label Daemon TV, she writes, performs, engineers and produces all of her albums alone in her small studio, the only instrument not played by Du Blonde are the drums.
