Kingsland

Kingsland is an eight-piece, female-fronted indie pop rock 'n' soul fusion project based in Brooklyn, New York. With live-instrumentation at the core of their sound, the band pairs a full rhythm section and horns with powerful lead vocals and layered harmonies. Their debut EP features disco-inspired grooves blended with pop hooks to create a soulful, but modern sound. Kingsland began playing across NYC in early 2025, developing their sound on stages such as Mercury Lounge, Bowery Electric, Arlene’s Grocery, The Cutting Room, and The Bitter End. The group is named after Kingsland Ave, where they first formed and reconnected. Several members began their musical journeys in the School of Rock program at an early age, and years of performing experience have shaped the band’s energetic, musicianship-driven approach to both their original music and live shows.
