Biography & Metadata

Lyndsi Austin is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer, known as the powerhouse frontwoman of So What! Who Cares? and Tidal Babes. Since moving to LA from Salt Lake City in 2016, she has made waves in the music industry as both a dynamic performer and sought-after studio vocalist. She co-wrote and featured on "Got The Rhythm" for the Universal Music Group soundtrack of Dance Camp and has earned vocal and songwriting credits on projects like Mick Flannery’s chart-topping self-titled album and American Idol finalist Brooke White’s album Calico. As a solo artist, Lyndsi has released a series of indie-pop singles, including collaborations with producer Nxghtshade. Her latest project So What! Who Cares? takes her signature indie-pop sound and brings the party to the dance floor with a full band and dual female lead singers. Their single "Jobs" earned them a semi-finalist slot in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition. "Lyndsi’s solo sound veers far from the bouncy vocals she delivers when fronting Tidal Babes. Alone, she seems to have created a more chill, isolated feel – you know, the feeling you get when dancing in the dark. Lyndsi’s smooth, relaxed vocals amidst upbeat drum patterns sounds reminiscent of a popular Robyn hit – danceable yet wavy with a hint of nostalgia" - THE HYPE MAGAZINE @lyndsi.austin on TikTok
