J. Kordel

J. Kordel began his music career over 20 years ago, composing and producing for film and television before earning a degree in Mixing Engineering from Musicians Institute. In 2013, he founded his own hip-hop label in São Paulo, becoming deeply involved in the rise of Brazil’s modern rap scene. Over the next decade, he collaborated with some of the country’s most influential artists, including Matuê, Racionais MC’s, Rafa Moreira, and Costa Gold, among many others, building a strong foundation in production, arrangement, and sonic identity. After years working at the forefront of hip-hop — while carrying a lifelong connection to electronic music and club culture — J. Kordel entered a new artistic chapter focused entirely on house and tech house. Drawing from his cinematic background, deep studio experience, and groove-oriented production style, his sound blends hypnotic rhythms, refined percussion, atmospheric tension, and emotionally driven energy designed for modern dancefloors. Now fully dedicated to his electronic music project, J. Kordel continues to develop a distinct identity shaped by underground club culture, forward-thinking production, and a constant pursuit of movement, feeling, and connection through sound.
