DSubject

DSubject makes R&B for people who have lived enough to know that love is rarely as simple as it sounds. Drawing from neo-soul, hip-hop soul, classic R&B, and contemporary production, his music brings together commanding basslines, infectious grooves, rich melodies, and songwriting rooted in real human experience. His catalog moves comfortably between sensuality, romance, personal reflection, and the complexities of relationships. Desire, pride, regret, reconciliation, and second chances all have their place, often approached with equal parts confidence, vulnerability, and humor. Some records are made to move you. Others might make you reconsider a decision you thought you'd made peace with. DSubject isn't interested in fitting every feeling into a familiar formula. The music is grown, occasionally provocative, sometimes uncomfortable, and always willing to explore what people don't necessarily say out loud.
