GeeJay

UK Soul/Pop duo GeeJay, comprised of Gina Jane (Gee) and multi instrumentalist Jay Lobo (Jay), have built a powerful grassroots following. Their honest, emotive songs that discuss and therapise everyday struggles have earned them more than 60 million streams, and strong tastemaker support across BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 1, 1XTRA, Apple Music 1, BBC Radio London and Jazz FM, where they were playlisted three times for their last album. GeeJay first met whilst working as baristas at a music café in Harringay, London. Their casual jam sessions on the café’s old piano quickly grew into a unique musical partnership. From those early jam sessions, GeeJay have grown into a live act known for electric energy and undeniable chemistry. They recently sold out London’s iconic Jazz Cafe, proving their status as a must-see show. On stage, Gee’s powerful, emotive vocals deliver raw, soulful storytelling about growth, resilience, and vulnerability, while Jay’s skilled piano playing provides a solid foundation with groove and jazz influences. Their connection draws audiences in with every performance. GeeJay’s second album 'Who have I Become', is a deep lyrical confession of the mixed emotions & feelings of parenthood. You can hear their signature sound with refined production and the addition of a lush string quartet. www.geejay.uk
