Doğukan Polat

Doğukan Polat , being a well-known artist for his successful performances in many television series & movies and also has some quality works on music production and the other forms of art, was born in 1990 in İstanbul. His relationship with music has started in his childhood years by listening to Turkish folk music in the backseat of his family's car, Ford Taunus. Later on, in his high school years, he started playing the bass guitar in the amateur punk rock band which was founded by his friends. In these years, he had also started the music production work. While studying at the Acting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Beykent University, he made some music videoes works too. The artist, who completed his Master’s Degree in Beykent Cinema & Television Department after his Bachelor’s degree, has always been in search of a new form of art apart from the known classical forms. After his succcessful performance as a soldier playing bağlama ( a traditional Turkish folk music instrument) and singing folk songs in a television series in 2017-2019, he has started to be recognized by the public as a musician too. Recently, he has performed an original work by blending classical, folk music and electronic music forms in his first single called as "Ali’yi Gördüm" which he produced with the artist Kerkayas The artist, who is also interested in photography as well as a well-known actor and a new musician, still continues to work on new art works nowadays.
