Everyman electronic pop artist Mykyl got his start as an intern for Imagine Dragons in 2019. After he quit to focus on his own music, he released his first single "Never Be", recounting his struggle with perfectionism. His lyrics tackle heavy topics such as mental health and the pains of growing up, yet his songs are often ironically packaged in upbeat and fresh production. Following after inspirations like Ryan Tedder and Jon Bellion, Mykyl writes and produces for other artists alongside his own project, and his music has been featured in playlists such as "New Music Friday" and "Soda".
