Pure Shores

Pure Shores (Marlene and Ji Nilsson) became friends in 2009 and bonded over the lack of good dance floors in Stockholm. Back then there were only a few clubs playing rnb music and they would call each other as soon as their favorite DJ was playing and go out dancing together. Based on their mutual understanding and love for the same type of music they started writing together in 2012 and have been inseparable ever since. 
 In 2019 Ji and Marlene, who both have had great success with their solo projects, formed Pure Shores - a songwriter/producer team. Later, the new name became a platform for them to explore a different genre from what they usually do and release music together as a duo. 
 "We spend most of our time writing songs for other artists. Forming Pure Shores gave us an outlet for just having fun and release songs that we would love to hear on a dance floor!". 
 They’ve been working with artists such as Georgio Moroder, Silvana Imam, Marina & The Diamonds, Taemin, Zikai, Eva Dahlgren, Don Diablo, KSHMR and more. The duo is currently in the studio writing and producing for other artists.
