Slushii (Real name Julian Scanlan), is a producer and DJ from New Jersey whose records sit where melodic pop meets heavy bass. Across a decade and two names he has built one of the most widely heard catalogues in independent electronic music, with more than 850 million Spotify streams to date and a run of records that reached people long before they reached for his name. All I Need with Aviella, became the menu theme for Rocket League, playing behind millions of hours of gameplay and passing 740,000 Shazams. "LUV U NEED U" landed on Monstercat and remains a fixture of the Rocket League x Monstercat catalogue at over 43 million streams. Under his second alias, sapientdream, Scanlan made Past Lives. He gave it away for free. It crossed over 2 billion video views on TikTok and 280 million streams, and five years on it is still played more than 220,000 times a day. He self-released his debut album, Out of Light, in 2017, followed by the Dream trilogy, and runs his own label, Sonic Dream. He returns in 2026 with Internet Kid, a new EP arriving in the fall.
