Lomax

After finding his musical feet aged 10 playing the drums, Lomax set off on a journey of musical adventure starting with drumming for the school orchestra, and progressing on to recording rap demos on a 4 track cassette recorder at school. Lomax then progressed on to a formal schooling in music and now plays guitar, keys and produces his own beats using a combination of hardware and software. With a solid grounding and a burning passion for creating music, Lomax took to a career in education but burst onto the UKHH scene in 2020 winning the ‘Shotgun the Bars’ competition. A link up with Micall Parknsun, support for the Beatnuts and Jeru the Damaja plus a string of live performances with DJ Woody quickly followed as Lomax caught the eye of his peers in the scene and started making waves. Other notable achievements include a feature alongside UKHH legend Blak Twang on Kidda album "Going Up" released on Skint Records. This debut LP "About Time" presents a selection of concepts as wide as Lomax’s range of musical influences and is produced by U.K. Hip Hop don Micall Parknsun. Everything from double time raps to slower flows, deeper storylines and conspiracy theories are all wrapped up in a creative tapestry that showcases the skills of this artist to the fullest degree.
