Ratchet Racer

Born and raised in Western Spain, Ratchet Racer is a voguing enthusiast, astrological mess, businesswoman, internet entity, big a$$ ratchet, countryside chica, e-girl and fitness legend, always temporarily based somewhere. Ratchet Racer is also an artist, singer, songwriter, DJ and producer. She has been active within the world of music since she can remember but she only decided to take her audiovisual project Ratchet Racer into the world in 2019, when she recorded her first songs. Influenced by her life experiences in Spain, France and Chile, Ratchet Racer released her first mixtape in August 2020, Booty Challenge, a polyglot mixture of sounds bringing out a wide spectrum of genres and moods, and will release her latest EP, Emotional Girls Club, in July 2025. Continuously experimenting, Ratchet Racer has ever since released singles, flirting with lo fi bedroom pop reggaeton vibes, lo fi deep house sounds, or epic techno tracks. She has collaborated with alternative pop artists like Kate Brunotts and Za111, Canadian producers Skinny Local and BETWEENLINES, Chicago-based artists Adam Atrix and GINGER*, Argentinian producer Bbynito, Chilean artist and producer Benjamin God and Spanish-Peruvian artist Fake City Quiet Pills, which whom she has organised and curated the first Neoperreo events in Europe. Ratchet Racer’s worldbuilding in relation to her music is ultimately glued on by three things: auto-tune, rebellious joy and what a body is capable of.
