Biography & Metadata
Bandoneon player, composer, producer from Argentina. A four-time Latin Grammy nominee: in 2026 for his album FUEYERÍAS, in 2023 for his solo album Retrato del Aire, and previously for his participation in Tango by Ricardo Montaner (2022) and Tango of the Americas by Pan American Symphony Orchestra (2021). He is principal bandoneon and concertmaster of the Orquesta Provincial de Música Ciudadana de Córdoba (Arg.), where he has also appeared as a guest conductor. A member of Orquesta El Arranque, he also leads his own projects, including the Pablo Jaurena Sextet and Trío MJC. He studied with leading figures such as Rodolfo Mederos, Julio Pane, Dino Saluzzi, and Hilda Herrera, and has shared the stage with major tango artists including Néstor Marconi, Víctor Lavallén, Atilio Stampone, Raúl Garello, Rodolfo Mederos and Osvaldo Piro. In Argentine folk music, he has worked with Juan Falú, Chango Spasiuk, Raly Barrionuevo, and Raúl Carnota; and internationally with artists such as Shakira, Joaquín Sabina, Cecilia Todd, Ricardo Montaner, Milo J, Trueno, and Bizarrap. He has participated in more than 70 recordings, and his music has been performed across five continents. He currently leads Fueyerías, a multifaceted project dedicated to the bandoneon and its contemporary global projection.
