@Slotta takes a personal approach to his music, encapsulating a deeply-embedded emotional connection. An emotive artist who pushes to engage the listener on a spiritual level, he offers a musical escape to a place of harmonic solace. Born Nicholas Sibusiso Dlamini, Slotta’s deep passion for music has seen him tap into producing different genres, such as hip-hop, RnB, electro and deep house music. Deep house took centre-stage with the release of his first EP, “Sweet Temptation”, in 2016 under the California-based recording label, Deeper Shades of House (DSOH). The EP received rave reviews from industry greats, such as @Charles Webster, @Nicky B from Kaya FM, @Nick Holder and @Abicah Soul, amongst others. The 2022-2023 period saw Slotta release his highly anticipated EP series "RAY" under Deepershades Recordings. All 16 tracks released over the span of a year ensured that there was something for everyone, carefully crafted to heal and comfort the soul. @Slotta is a go-getter who never lets distance, time or borders stop him from soaring to unfathomable heights. One of the major highlights in his career is winning a competition by South African outfit, @Micasa in 2019 then ofcourse being a 10 time Swama award nominee and 5 time winner for : Best House Artist, SWAMA 2018 Song of the Year, SWAMA 2020 Best House Song, SWAMA 2020 Best House Song, SWAMA 2021 Best Music Producer, SWAMA 2021
