Cuthead

Hi, this is Cuthead, the instrumental project of swiss guitarplayer/composer Dominik Rüegg founded in 2003. My latest 2022/23 releases are towards acoustic sologuitar, either classical or steelstring guitar. After the release of my first 2 cds (focusing on el. guitar) I took a "creative" break, due to a lot of jobs as a remote session guitarist for pop acts and movie soundtracks. In the meantime more than 500 albums and about 150 film soundtracks have been created. I have now decided to start releasing my own music on a regular basis. I release acoustic solo guitar pieces on classical & steelstring guitar under my real name Dominik Rueegg and use another moniker Lemonbird for experimental ambient music & soundscapes.
