The Companions

With over 500 million streams under their belt, the songwriting/production duo (Stefan van Leijsen & Sasha Rangas) decided to step out from behind the scenes in 2020 after having been a part of more than 120 releases in the last three years. Their credentials reach from Dutch singer Maan’s “Ze Huilt Maar Ze Lacht”, which peaked at nr. 3 in the Dutch charts, to Nona's number 1 airplay single "Forever Yours" and Metejoor's number one hits "1 Op Een Miljoen" & "Rendez-Vous", of which the former is declared Belgium's most succesful song of 2021. Their versatility also shows in their own artist project. The Companions always strive for melody driven pop anthems, like their first single "Pretty Fucking Sure" and follow up single "Late Night" with clide (with whom they also collaborated with for clide's first single "broken parts", which got featured on countless blogs and Spotify playlists), and have succesfully done so again with their upcoming single "Lost Or Gone" with David Rasmussen. This time in a piano ballad with more focus on David's unique, emotional vocal delivery.
